H:James Hill was born in Scotland, moved to Tyneside (he lived in
H:Gateshead for sure, possibly Newcastle and other places for a 
H:while) and was active in the mid-1800s.
H:The third part of this tune was probably added in the 1920's.
H:The first three-part version I know of was recorded by accordionist
H:Patrick Lynch in New York in 1924 and 1925.
